• Full-site Content scan

Scan an entire site, a single page, or a custom list of URLs. BetaSweep discovers pages from your sitemap automatically, with options to exclude paths, filter by page type, or use a different sitemap for staging and localhost sites. No need to enter URLs or test pages one at a time.

  • Search your entire site for specific text

Define search terms and find every page where they appear. Quickly locate outdated phone numbers, old brand names, retired product references, policy language, or any other text that needs to change across your site.

  • Search visible text, HTML, or both

Choose whether to search the text visitors see, the underlying HTML code, or both. Searching HTML lets you find page titles, meta descriptions, alt text, class names, and other content that may not be visible on the page.

Search the source code for classes, attributes, meta tags, alt text, and other markup across your entire site. This can be especially useful when you need to find a code-level pattern or make a site-wide change.

  • Use case-sensitive matching

Choose whether each search should match capitalization. Use case-sensitive matching when exact capitalization matters, such as with brand names, or turn it off for broader searches.

  • See where each match appears

Results show the page URL, line number, and surrounding text for every match. Find the information you need without opening each page and searching manually.

  • Check spelling across all pages

Scan visible text, headings, link text, alt text, and page information for possible spelling mistakes. Results are called "flagged words" rather than errors because many flagged words are intentional, such as brand names, technical terms, and abbreviations.

  • Build a custom exclude list

Add words to a global exclude list so they're skipped on every future scan. Brand names, product names, industry terms, and other intentional words only need to be excluded once.

  • Get spelling suggestions

Each flagged word includes suggested corrections when available. BetaSweep uses a US English dictionary with a modern supplementary word list, so common technology terms, modern slang, and newer words aren't flagged unnecessarily.

  • Actionable Reporting

    Find every match in context

Search results show the page URL, line number, surrounding text, and number of matches. Click a result to review every instance without having to search through the site manually.

    Review flagged words with suggestions

Each flagged word includes spelling suggestions when available. Review every page where the word appears and decide whether it should be corrected or added to your exclude list.

Exclude words directly from the report

Add brand names, technical terms, and other intentional words to your global exclude list directly from the report. Once excluded, those words are skipped on every future scan.
